Congratulations on the completion of your medical training! This accomplishment allows you to pursue a variety of career pathways, and we are eager to support your interest in pursuing residency training in psychiatry. FAU Psychiatry is an ACGME-approved, state-of-the-art psychiatry residency training program, which welcomed its first resident cohort in July 2018.

Choosing the right residency program is a crucial step in your professional growth and development. During your four years of psychiatry residency training at FAU, you will experience a stimulating mixture of education, supervision, mentorship, on-the-job clinical training, and exposure to research and scholarship that together will provide the foundation needed to support the rest of your career. Our focus on critical thinking will provide you with the tools to appraise and incorporate new discoveries in our fast-moving field.

Located in Palm Beach County, Florida, our university-based program features major clinical rotations at Tenet HealthCare's Delray Medical Center; Health Care District Palm Beach County; West Palm Beach Veteran's Administration Medical Center; Bethesda Hospital East; Rales Jewish Family Services and Psychiatric Specialty Center, and a variety of electives at additional sites.
