A Comprehensive Stroke Center, Boca Raton Regional Hospital is a not-for-profit, advanced tertiary medical center with 400 beds, 19,700 admissions, 180,000 outpatient visits, and over 40,000 ER visits per year. The Marcus Neuroscience Institute, located at Boca Raton Regional Hospital, is a 57,000-square-foot facility that houses a 20-bed Neuro Intensive Care and Step-Down Unit, and four dedicated operating rooms. Operating rooms are equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, including intraoperative MRI, intraoperative CT, and a biplane angiography suite. The institute is staffed by a team of clinicians highly trained in all facets of the neurosciences, including stroke, movement disorders, neuro-oncology, epilepsy, memory disorders, Alzheimer’s disease, multiple sclerosis, and spinal conditions.

As both a community hospital and a Level I Trauma Center, Delray Medical Center offers specialized services including cardiac care, orthopedics, rehabilitation, neurosciences, and emergency care

St. Mary's Medical Center

Residents fulfill their pediatric neurology requirements at St. Mary’s Medical Center. A Tenet Health facility, St. Mary’s Medical Center provides comprehensive medical services for both adults and children. The hospital has over 460 beds, with 17,000 admissions, 117,000 outpatient visits and 47,000 ER visits each year. Its dedicated Children’s Hospital, the only such freestanding center in the area, offers a wide array of specialized services, including pediatric surgery a pediatric trauma center and emergency department, neonatal and pediatric critical care services, pediatric cancer services, and adolescent bariatrics. St. Mary’s is certified as Level I trauma center and provides emergency and injury care for a higher risk urban population and a significant population of underinsured and urban minority patients.
