College of Medicine has teamed up with partners inside and outside FAU to draw students interested in medicine and biological sciences into our programs.
The MED DIRECT Program works in partnership with FAU’s College of Medicine and creates special opportunities for undergraduates who demonstrate a strong interest in medicine, a high level of academic ability, a passion for service and commitment to volunteerism.
The Wilkes Medical Scholars Program is a highly selective, early admission program into The Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine for students who have a strong desire to pursue a career in medicine. Students select from twenty-seven academic concentrations and receive either a B.A. or a B.S. in Liberal Arts and Sciences, from the Wilkes Honors College in Jupiter and the M.D. degree from FAU's College of Medicine in Boca Raton in seven or eight years.

The College has partnered with the Palm Beach County School District to offer the Healthcare Careers Outreach Program to afford middle school students with enhanced learning opportunities.
This partnership with FAMU is an 8-year Bachelor of Science-Medical Doctor dual-degree program for outstanding high school seniors who have made an early and informed decision to become a physician.
The College’s graduate programs combine innovation with high-tech learning tools to educate and train aspiring scientists. The college offers a joint doctoral program with the FAU College of Science in integrative biology, a master’s degree in biomedical science and a graduate certificate in biomedical science.
